First Look Inside The NEW Wicked: The Experience at Universal Orlando!
Universal Orlando announced that their new Wicked: The Experience will officially open on Saturday, November 16 inside Universal Studios Florida!Wicked: The Experience is located inside Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando Resort. The experience officially opens to the public tomorrow, but I got a sneak peek inside. Here’s what this new experience is all about.The all-new immersive experience invites you to enter the breathtaking world of Wicked before the highly anticipated Universal Pictures film hits theaters on November 22.

What is Wicked: The Experience?
Wicked: The Experience offers a unique opportunity to step into the Land of Oz. This exclusive, limited time attraction will take you along the yellow brick road, transporting you through iconic Wicked locations, from Shiz University to the Emerald City. You’ll be able to get a close up at fanciful costumes and props created by the film’s designers. You’ll feel fully immersed in the gorgeous theming and ambiance that recreates some of the most iconic moments from the Wicked film.
You will find costume and prop replicas created by the film’s designers, along with photo opportunities – including Glinda’s Bubble Pink dress and wand, and Elphaba’s “Defying Gravity” dress alongside a broom photo op.
We started the morning off with a meet and greet with the two main characters from the Wicked film — Elphaba and Glinda!
As soon as you walk in, you’ll see the gorgeous patterned wallpaper featuring Oz, the Wizard’s castle, and the brass mask. My detaill in this experience is by the door as you enter the first room. The artwork of Elphaba and Glinda in green and pink is AMAZING!
To the left of the dress is a production photo of Ariana Grande wearing the pink bubble dress on the set of “Wicked.” Glinda’s iconic pink bubble dress is on display behind glass.
The display that includes Glinda’s tiara, bubble wand, jewelry, and pink slippers is really cool!
Glinda’s private room that Elphaba eventually shares with her shortly after arriving at Shiz.
Elphaba’s pajama's while at Shia is on display. It's currently the only item actually worn in the film. The other costumes are screen accurate replicas.
Here is the costume and wheelchair for Nessarose Thropp, Elphaba’s sister, played by Marissa Bode in the film.
As you enter the second large room, the entrance wall features the logo for Shiz University, where Glinda and Elphaba go to school to study.
On the left is Elphaba’s Ozdust dress and hat, next to the logo for Ozdust and a map of Shiz. Fiyero’s Ozdust suit is between Elphaba and Glinda’s costumes. Glinda’s Shiz Uniform, along with her training wand are also on display.
There’s a fun photo op at the end of the costume hallway, looking out over Oz with a few tulips on either side.
Merchandise Inside Wicked: The Experience
Inside Wicked: The Experience, you'll have the opportunity to shop a variety of new merchandise available, including apparel, home goods, accessories, toys, and more – all inspired by the new film.
Several "Wicked" merchandise collections:
The Shiz University collection is inspired by the school where Glinda and Elphaba first meet, and will feature back-to-school must-haves, including a spirit jersey, duffle bag, tumbler, hat and more.The legendary Studio MinaLima has created "Wicked"-inspired graphics and prints for a collection that includes apparel, accessories, home goods and stationery.A "Wicked" logo collection has items such as hats, notebooks, mugs and more. Plus, you'll find merchandise from collaborations, including Mattel fashion dolls, Funko Pops!, LEGO sets, Loungefly bags and cosplay and prop replicas from The Noble Collection.
Wicked: The Experience Food and Beverages
Universal Orlando is celebrating the upcoming Wicked film with a variety of themed food and beverage options. You can find the Wicked themed food and drinks throughout both sides of Universal Orlando and CityWalk. We got to try some during our preview!
Studio Snacks is the food kiosk outside the experience that has snacks, themed cocktails and mocktails. Voodoo Donut offers WICKED-themed donuts, and Toothsome has a Wicked themed milkshake. The sweet shop in Universal Islands of Adventure has sweet treats like cookies, cupcakes and pretzels.

Voodoo Doughnut in CityWalk offers 2 “Wicked” themed doughnuts. The Perfectly Pink Doughnut is inspired by Glinda, and The Enchantingly Emerald Doughnut is inspired by Elphaba. Enchantingly Emerald Doughnut—$4.50

Emerald City Studio Snacks
Studio Snacks is located inside Universal Studios Florida. After scanning into the park, this outdoor kiosk in near Minion Land and to the left of Wicked: The Experience.

Pearled sugar waffle with strawberry whipped topping, strawberry cream crumbs & sparkle dust

Olemca Altos, Plata Tequila, Bols Blue Curacao, lime & pineapple juice topped with Fresca.You can taste the vodka, and there’s just a small hint of pineapple and line lime. This Is you typical theme park fruity and cocktail.
THE SPARKLING EMERALD – $11
Sparkling green limoncello spritzThis is my favorite. It's light, citrusy and not too tart. This is a fun bubbly and refreshing drink option.
