 Call all Harry Potter Fans! The next Harry Potter Shop is coming to the Windy City! 
Opening on April 10, 2025, fans can head to the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Harry Potter Shop Chicago located at 676 N Michigan Avenue (below the Omni Hotel Chicago). Nestled among Chicago's historic architecture and bustling shopping district, the store is filled with an array of themed areas, exclusive merchandise, props and a Butterbeer Bar, offering locals and visitors a truly immersive experience at every turn.

Before even stepping foot into Harry Potter Shop Chicago, the magic begins! Fans, locals and tourists walking on Michigan Avenue will be captivated by the store's elegant exterior that pays homage to the city's bold architectural spirit. Once inside, the store's design leans into themes of resilience and rebirth seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Guests are welcomed by a moving mermaid-stained glass window, inspired by the window in the Prefects' bathroom at Hogwarts, as well as the iconic Golden Egg transporting fans straight into scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The store's interior brings the three tasks of the Triwizard Tournament to life:
  • Suspended broomsticks "on fire" light up the store as a nod to the dragon challenge.
  • The water trial's Golden Egg adds a shimmering focal point to the store's design.
  • A maze patterned floor leads to the register area, symbolizing the culmination of the tournament and the shopping journey.
The Goblet of Fire itself serves as a centerpiece, bringing the three tasks together.

Spellbinding Areas to Explore: 

As you make your way through Harry Potter Shop Chicago, you will discover enchanting, themed areas, giving every wizard, witch and Muggle something to enjoy.

  • Butterbeer Bar: At the heart of the store is the largest Butterbeer Bar in the U.S. Inspired by Chicago's famous style of speakeasies, guests can sip on the iconic Butterbeer and indulge in exclusive Chicago-themed Butterscotch Popcorn.

  • Confectionery: From Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, to Chocolate Frogs, the Honeydukes inspired confectionery is filled with a variety of sweet treats and boasts an oversized interactive jellybean experience.

  • Chicago Section: The store will feature a selection of Chicago-exclusive wizarding world merchandise including a Chicago bear, spirit jersey, pins, mug, tote bag, caps and many more.

  • House Pride: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin? The store has it all! Visitors can celebrate their Hogwarts house with themed apparel, accessories, collectibles and a dedicated fitting room to ensure fans look bewitching in their new house gear!

  • MinaLima Section: Home to America's second House of MinaLima, the graphic design duo behind the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, this area features stunning visual storytelling that has captivated fans worldwide. Plus, visitors can check out a Chicago-exclusive print from the designers.
