‘Hogwarts Always’ Castle Projection Show Debuts at Universal Orlando Resort
Hogwarts Always has debuted in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, running on select nights through August 25 2024.
‘Hogwarts Always’ Nighttime Projection Show
As part of Universal Orlando’s 2024 summer offerings, Hogwarts Always, the new castle projection show debuted on June 14th! Set on select nights at the park, fans can gaze in awe as this new illuminating experience takes guests on a journey through iconic Hogwarts moments, set against the radiant backdrop of the famous castle and accompanied by a newly arranged score recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Hogwarts Always is a 7ish minutes projection show that follows a year in the life of a Hogwarts student; inspired by iconic moments from the Harry Potter films – including the Hogwarts Express, Marauder’s Map, the Sorting Ceremony, the Forbidden Forest, and more. 
Throughout the castle projection show— You can also expect to hear dialogue from beloved characters like Dumbledore, Hagrid, the Sorting Hat, & more.The show will also feature four different ending options - each a different Hogwarts house. You’ll have to grab a viewing spot to see if your house takes home the House Cup!Hogwarts Always concludes with a brief firework display.
Hogwarts Always has replaced the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, which ran from 2018 until 2023 at Universal Orlando. This new projection show is a huge improvement over the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle. Projections look very crisp and colorful!
How to See “Hogwarts Always”
Hogwarts Always runs select nights, with showtimes occurring throughout the night once it’s dark enough out. While the Universal app doesn’t list the specific showtimes each night, it runs every 20 minutes from dusk until park closing.Here’s the showtime schedule I’ve experienced this past week:

With Hogwarts Always only running until August 25th, hopefully this means the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will finally return this fall!
