You can meet the Grinch daily from November 17th to January 1st 2024, and it's included with your park admission ticket.This meet and greet at Universal Orlando is an extremely popular holiday experience that almost every guest wants to do. You can interact, take photos, and even get roasted by the iconic character!
Where Do You Go To Meet The Grinch At Universal Orlando?
You can experience the Grinch meet and greet at Honk Honkers in Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando. Honk Honkers, at the end of Seuss Landing. It’s right next to Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers.You can also meet The Grinch during the Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast located in Islands of Adventure at Confisco Grille.
How Do You Meet the Grinch at Universal Orlando in 2023?
You simply walk up to Honk Honkers & get on line to meet the Grinch. This is the free (included in your park ticket) way to meet The Grinch at Universal Orlando.
There is no Virtual Line to meet the grinch this year.
It’s a first-come, first-served experience with a regular stand-by line. In 2022, you had to reserve a specific time slot via the Virtual Line to meet the Grinch, which almost always filled up within minutes of the park opening.
Wait Times for The Grinch Meet and Greet 2023
Since there is only a standby line this year, the line to meet the Grinch: can get VERY long. Wait times have typically ranged from 70 to 180 minutes, especially on weekends.

Team Member’s can use your phone, or you can utilize the MyUniversal photographs if you have a photo package, or just want to purchase your Grinch photos. The professional Universal photos are available to purchase upon exiting Honk Honkers.The Grinch meet & greet is in his dark lair, so keep that in mind if using your own phone for photos.
Tips for the Grinch Meet and Greet 2023
Arrive as early as you can, and be prepared for a long wait.For the shortest wait your best bet is to queue up during Universal’s Early Park Admission. The meet and greet starts at 9 AM however waiting during Early Park Admission may be the best way to meet The Grinch without waiting over 2-3 hours during the day. I arrived at Honk Honkers by 8:00 AM, and by 9:40AM I was meeting The Grinch.If you’re not an early riser, and you see the line continuing near Moose Juice, Goose Juice during the day, wait until later in the day when that section clears. Ideally you want to wait until the line is only in front of Honk Honkers before jointing it.Another way to meet The Grinch without a long long wait is going at the end of the night. This way, the last thing you do in the park could be meeting The Grinch. I tested this out and ended up waiting 60 minutes, which was way better than the 180 minute wait during the daytime.

Universal's Holiday Tour
This 2-park, 5 hour tour includes reserved seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a private meet-and-greet with Santa, priority access to one pre-selected attraction, an after-hours showing of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, light bites, desserts and more and, best of all, exclusive meet-and-greets with the Grinch and Max.Theme park admission isn't included in the listed price, but reservations and separate park admission are required. The Grinch has a BIG personality and he will walk up to your table and have some fun with you.The grinch breakfast includes one plated entrée, such as Cindy-Lou Who's Belgian Waffles or Lou Lou Who's Breakfast Sandwich, one nonalcoholic beverage, such as coffee, and treats like Grinch & Max cookies.Reservations are required and must be made up to 24 hours before arrival. The price does not include admission to Universal Islands of Adventure. Of course, the free option is most ideal In terms of staying on a budget.If I had to choose between the Holiday Tour or the Grinch Character Breakfast, I would choose the Holiday Tour. For roughly $20-$25.00 more, you get a private meet and greet with the Grinch, Max & Santa. 
Regardless of how you meet the Grinch, his sense of humor makes this meet-and-greet such an unforgettable experience for both littles and adults!
