The newest Harry Potter Shop is now open in Chicago. The store opened to the public on April 10, 2025, welcoming Harry Potter fans from around the globe. The store is filled with themed areas, props, a Butterbeer bar, and exclusive merchandise. You'll find Harry Potter fan favorites items such as wands, robes, stationery, jewelry, Honeydukes treats, and wands are available to purchase, as well as Hogwarts house apparel.

Harry Potter Shop Chicago is the newest official Harry Potter store in Chicago's Magnificent Mile offering an immersive experience for Harry Potter fans of all ages.
The store offers themed shopping experiences, fun interactive elements, exclusive merchandise and the largest Butterbeer Bar in the U.S. Inspired by Chicago’s famous style of speakeasies. Spanning over 11,000 sq. ft., the store has a huge variety of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts items all in one place.Here's what to expect during your visit to Harry Potter Shop Chicago.

Once inside, the store's design design takes inspiration from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." upon entering, you’ll greeted by t a moving mermaid-stained glass window, inspired by the window in the Prefects' bathroom at Hogwarts, as well as the iconic Golden Egg transporting fans straight into scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. 
The store's interior brings the three tasks of the Triwizard Tournament to life:
Suspended broomsticks "on fire" light up the store as a nod to the dragon challenge.The water trial's Golden Egg adds a shimmering focal point to the store's design.A maze patterned floor leads to the register area, symbolizing the culmination of the tournament and the shopping journey.The Goblet of Fire itself serves as a centerpiece, bringing the three tasks together.

Harry Potter Shop Chicago has the largest Butterbeer Bar in the U.S. It’s Inspired by Chicago’s famous style of speakeasies. Here, you can sit and enjoy guests the iconic Butterbeer on draft, Butterbeer ice-cream, and you can try several sweet treats like the exclusive Chicago-themed Butterscotch Popcorn.
Exclusive Chicago Wizarding World Merchandise
The store has a selection of Chicago-exclusive wizarding world merchandise including a Chicago bear, spirit jersey, pins, mug, tote bag and hat. Another exclusive is the Goblet of Fire wand, found only in Chicago’s shop.

From Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, to Chocolate Frogs, the Honeydukes inspired confectionery is filled with a variety of sweet treats and features an oversized interactive jellybean experience.
House of MinaLima Section
Home to America's second House of MinaLima, the graphic design duo behind the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, this area features stunning visual storytelling that has captivated Harry Potter fans around the world. MinaLima Design created an exclusive print for Chicago that “captures the wonder of the Magnificent Mile and the glowing Goblet of Fire at the heart of this stunning new location.” There’s also a Chicago exclusive Butterbeer bottle design.
