Universal Orlando Resort has shared new details about Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel – a spectacular 500-room resort located at the much-anticipated Universal Epic Universe theme park opening in 2025.
Designed to blend immersion and relaxation to create a hotel stay like no other, this resort features tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, divine dining options, a stunning rooftop bar and the hotel’s very own dedicated entrance to the new theme park.

As soon as you step into this radiant sanctuary, you will be transported to a fantastical world within the palace of Helios, the Greek god of the sun, adorned with beautiful details of celestial patterns, dazzling constellations and elegant yet casual Mediterranean design elements.
Through the lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows is a breathtaking vista of Celestial Park – boasting some of the best views of Epic Universe in the entire hotel and immersing guests in the park’s brilliance by day and night.

Located off the lobby is the hotel’s dedicated entrance into Epic Universe – an unparalleled amenity for guests of Universal Helios Grand Hotel that provides direct, convenient access to and from the theme park (valid theme park admission required).
Serene Guest Rooms and Spacious Suites
Bright, inviting and warm, the guest rooms and suites of Universal Helios Grand Hotel evoke the tranquility of a blissful garden – with many of the rooms offering fantastic views of Universal Epic Universe.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel has 500 rooms and 35 suites.
All of the guest rooms will have complimentary basic WiFi and tablets for guests to digitally control elements of the room like lights, curtains, room service, and the thermostat.
Guest rooms will also have the standard partition between the vanity and bathroom area. Complimentary Pack'n Plays are available upon request.
Universal has described these guest rooms as “sophisticated and comfortable at the same time” with gold accents throughout as a “nod to Helios, god of the sun.”
How to Train Your Dragon Kids’ Suites
Unique to Universal Helios Grand Hotel are the imaginative How to Train Your Dragon Kids’ Suites, where little ones can take to the skies and rest amongst dragons in a colorful room inspired by the Viking village of Berk.
Per Universal Orlando, “The main kind of bedroom and living room area will look like a typical suite, but there will be a double-twin room for the kids behind a rustic, wooden door.”
“Inside there will be a graphic with Toothless and Light Fury. It’s like sleeping in a dragon’s house.”

Standard Rooms
Deluxe 2 Queen Beds: This 415-square-foot room accommodates up to 5 guests. It has two queen-sized beds, a common area featuring a small sleeper sofa, and a two-compartment, three-fixture bathroom.
King Bed: With one king-size bed and a two-compartment, three-fixture bathroom, the 340 square foot King Room will accommodate up to 4 guests (with a rollaway bed).
Club Level Rooms
Club Standard 2 Queen Beds: With two queen-sized beds and a two-compartment, three-fixture bathroom, there’s plenty of space in this 325 square foot room 5 guests (with a rollaway bed).
Guests staying Club Level will get to enjoy exclusive extras like access to a private lounge, personal concierge service, continental breakfast, and evening hors d’oeuvres.
Club Deluxe 2 Queen Beds: This 415-square-foot room accommodates up to 5 guests. It has two queen-sized beds, a common area featuring a small sleeper sofa, and a two-compartment, three-fixture bathroom.
Suites
Suites at Universal Helios Grand Hotel will sleep up to 4 guests (with a rollaway bed).
Celestial Suite: 740 square-foot suite. There’s a king-size bed in a private bedroom and a separate common area equipped with a sectional sleeper sofa. There’s also a two-compartment, four-fixture powder bath, microwave, small refrigerator, and a dining table.
King Suite: 495-square-foot room features a king-size bed for the adults in a private room. The common area features a small sleeper sofa, 55” flat panel TV, and a microwave. A two-compartment, four-fixture bathroom gives ample space for everyone.
Hospitality Suite: This suite has a private bedroom with a king-size bed and a common area to host a small gathering. This 1200 square foot suite also features a two-compartment, four-fixture bathroom, and sleeps up to 4 guests (with a rollaway bed).
Presidential Suite: 1500-square-foot suite delivers. Plus, outside your window is Universal Epic Universe. In addition to a private bedroom with a king-size bed and a large common area.
How to Train Your Dragon Kids’ Suite: 545 square foot room that features a separate kids’ room with two twin beds that’s themed in heartwarming and imaginative How to Train Your Dragon décor.

Bar Helios
A sparkling and stylish rooftop lounge, Bar Helios at Universal Helios Grand Hotel offers a delectable menu of creative tapas and familiar favorites, thoughtfully-handcrafted specialty cocktails, and unmatched 360-degree views of Epic Universe and beyond – making this the perfect spot for guests to kick back in the evening after a busy day in the parks.
On the menu you can expect to see Mediterranean food items such as, salads, tapas, sliders lamb and chicken gyros, and antipasti. It will serve “sunny-type” cocktails like martinis, bellini’s, spritzes, and negronis, in addition to your standard beer, cocktail, and wine options.
“The dining experience will play right into the theme park,” per Universal, “and there’s no better place to watch the fountain shows than our rooftop bar.”
Flora Taverna
A full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and lobby bar with a light and airy atmosphere – featuring an open-style kitchen with live cooking, Mediterranean comfort foods, pizza ovens, and al fresco seating overlooking the beautiful scenery of Celestial Park.
Per Universal, the food at Flora Taverna will be, “All authentic, high-quality, fresh ingredients, leaning heavily into grilling. It’s simple flavors made with exceptional ingredients and complemented by bringing in olive oils, citrus and herbs and just emphasizing that Greek/Italian style of cooking and dining.
"Think fish, seafood, lamb, roasted chicken and steaks. But of course also flatbreads and a great burger because we know some of our guests like that.”
Aurora Market
A contemporary coffee shop and market offering freshly-roasted coffees, delightful grab-and-go food items and enticing snack and dessert options from morning to night.
Per Universal. “We want to make sure theme park guests have a simple, artisanal, grab-and-go option throughout the day, but especially in the morning,” said David.
“This will have freshly roasted coffee, paninis, wraps, salads… everything to really get people started for their day and in and out of that space quickly.”
Lotus Lagoon
A poolside bar and grill where guests can cool off with refreshing cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks and enjoy casual fare options like burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.
