New Ride Details and Concept Art Revealed for ‘Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry’ Ride at Epic Universe
In honor of Back to Hogwarts day, new details were revealed about the ride and queue for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry at Universal Epic Universe.
It wasn’t too long ago that we learned Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry will take guests through the Métro-Floo from Paris to the British Ministry of Magic where Dolores Umbridge is about to stand trial.In today’s new video, Harry Potter fans got additional details about the queue and characters we’ll see will during this new dark ride experience.Universal also confirmed that Dame Imelda Staunton is reprising her role as Umbridge!
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Queue Details
Guests at Universal Epic Universe will enter the British Ministry of Magic using the Floo Network. Harry Potter fans will be able to walk through the full-scale British Ministry of Magic, including a huge atrium.
Universal Orlando stated guests the restored Fountain of Magical Brethren statue, flying memos, and an enchanted weather ceiling. Here, guests discover it’s the day of Dolores Umbridge’s trial.
As guests make their way through the queue, Universal stated we’ll experience scenes familiar from the films, as well as scenes that we’ll experience for the first time during the experience. As guests move along the queue, we’ll pass through the locker room. This is where we see details showing Harry, Ron, and Neville are in training to become Aurors.
In the Hall of Ministers, portraits of past Ministers of Magic interact with each other and guests. Universal Orlando mentioned an appearances by 1700s Minister Gamp and 1900s Minister Bagnald.
There queue will have a Map Room that features a magical moving map of the Ministry, hinting to guests about the locations they’re’ about to visit.
Guests will also walk through the Aurors’ headquarters, which is said to be filled with lots of Easter eggs that pay tribute to fallen Aurors. Peep the concept art is a portrait of Alastor "Mad-Eye” Moody.
In Umbridge’s office, we’ll meet a new character – Higgledy, Umbridge’s former house elf. Higgledy is packing up Umbridge’s office in preparation for the trial. Yes, there will still be cat plates on the walls

Guests will then board the lifts, taking them to the trial. Of course nothing goes according to plan because the lifts go a stray, and through various departments in the Ministry. Guests will see the Ministry Archives and the Department of Magical Creatures.Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Ride has Harry Potter film characters that have never before featured in an attraction include Death Eaters Corban Yaxley, Walden Macnair, and Amycus Alecto Carrow, and Kingsley Shacklebolt.
