Universal Orlando Officially Announces Epic Universe 2025 Opening Date and Ticket Details<br/>

Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced that the fourth theme park – Universal Epic Universe – will officially open on May 22, 2025! Universal also revealed its first wave of ticket details.

3 day Ticket packages go on sale October 22nd, and Annual Passholders will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets before the general public with stipulations.

What You Need To Know:

Universal Epic Universe will offer over 50 experiences, from innovative attractions to stunning entertainment and uniquely themed dining and shopping options.

Universal Epic Universe, is set to open on May 22nd, 2025.

Universal Orlando Resort will Launch Select Multi-Day Tickets and Vacation Packages Inclusive of Universal Epic Universe on Tuesday, Oct. 22

Annual Passholders will have an exclusive chance to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe prior to being available to the general public starting Oct. 24.

Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open on Tuesday, October 22 for stays beginning May 22, 2025.

The Universal Helios Grand Hotel is the new hotel located inside Universal Epic Universe.

This 500-room hotel will offer incredible views of Epic Universe, and has a private entrance to Epic Universe. (Valid theme park admission required)

How to Get Tickets to Universal Epic Universe

Select Multi-Day Tickets and Packages go on sale Tuesday, October 22, with more on the way soon.

At first, only vacation packages and three-day tickets (or longer) to Universal Orlando Resort, which include one day at Epic Universe, will be sold during phase one.

In one pricing example, three-day tickets would range from $374.88 to $554.87 (after tax) per person, depending on the date.

Specific products launching during this first phase include:

A variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages offering three, four, or five days of access to Universal's theme parks will be available for purchase, including one day at Epic Universe. Sales for these will start on Tuesday, October 22nd.

Annual Passholders will have an exclusive chance to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe prior to being available to the general public.
This opportunity for Passholders will begin on Thursday, October 24th.

Reservations for the Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open on Tuesday, October 22nd, for stays starting May 22nd, 2025.

Additional ticket products for Epic Universe – including single-day tickets for the general public, additional multi-day ticket options, Florida resident tickets, Universal Express passes and more – will be available at a later date before the park opens.

Here is a list of the multi-day ticket options that will become available beginning October 22, 2024:

3-Day Ticket

Enjoy two days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe

4-Day Ticket

Enjoy three days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe

5-Day Ticket

 Enjoy four days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe

For each of the above, guests also have the option to add access to Universal Volcano Bay – giving them the opportunity to experience all four Universal Orlando theme parks during their visit.

Create Your Own Vacation Package:

Guests can save up to $200 (savings based on a 7-night stay) by bundling a 2-night or longer stay at a Universal hotel with one of the multi-day ticket options above.

Guests can receive the maximum savings of $200 with a 7-night vacation package that includes:

A 5-day ticket that includes four days of access to Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, plus a separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe

7-night hotel accommodations at one of Universal Orlando’s 11 magnificently themed resorts

Early Park Admission for Universal Epic Universe, Universal Volcano Bay and either Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure up to one hour before the park opens

2025 Explorer Ticket inclusive of a Single Day at Universal Epic Universe:(Only available in the U.K. and Latin America)

Available for visits in 2025, guests can enjoy the thrills of Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay for 14 days, plus get access to the all-new Universal Epic Universe theme park for one day during their ticket validity window.

All Parks Ticket (Only available in the U.K.)

Available for visits beginning January 1, 2026, the All Parks Ticket gives guests the ultimate flexibility – allowing them to visit all four Universal Orlando theme parks for 14 days. This ticket also includes park-to-park access – meaning guests can visit multiple theme parks, including Universal Epic Universe, on the same day or any day they’d like during their ticket validity window.

Epic Universe Ticket FAQ’S for Annual Passholders

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders receive priority opportunity to purchase Single-Day Tickets to Universal Epic Universe beginning October 24.

For the Annual Passholder Epic Universe ticket purchasing opportunity, there will be a limit of six (6) tickets per transaction. If you have more than six (6) Passholders linked to your Universal account, you'll need more than one (1) transaction.

Ticket prices and availability will vary by day. An allotment of tickets for all dates, including the week of the park’s Grand Opening, has been reserved for Passholders. A current and valid Annual or Seasonal Pass is required at the time of purchase. The 1-Day, dated admission is non-transferable.

Per Universal Orlando, you will be able to buy a 1-Day Universal Epic Universe add-on ticket for a date that's after your pass expires. Passholders only have to have a valid Annual or Seasonal Pass at the time that they purchase their 1-Day Universal Epic Universe add-on tickets. You’ll will be able to select a date for visit that occurs after your pass expiration date if you choose to do so.
