Disney Parks Announces 2024 Halloween Offerings


As part of Disney’s "Halfway to Halloween" celebration, Disney announced the start dates for Halloween events at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, other theme parks internationally, as well as  Disney Cruise Line!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns in 2024

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is coming back to Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World for another year of frights and fun! This separately ticketed event, which takes place on select nights from August through October 31, will kick off on August 9.

The party will take place on the following nights in 2024:

  • Aug. 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
  • Sept. 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
  • Oct. 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting May 15. Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green will have early access to tickets on May 8.

  • New costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse

  • More Villains sightings

    • “From the moment Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins and throughout Magic Kingdom you’ll be able to spot your favorite sinister villains and ghoulish foes! Who knows, you might even get to take a selfie with them.”
  • New DescenDANCE Party

    • Show off your best villain DescenDANCE Party, taking place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. This new rave is inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” premiering on Disney+ on July 12.
  • Bruno Madrigal joins MNSSHP

    • For the first time during the party, you can meet the clairvoyant character from “Encanto” alongside Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden. 
  • New earlier start time for “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade”

    • The parade will take place a full hour earlier, at 8:15pm.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returning Favorites

Fan favorites include “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show, hosted by Jack Skellington, the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show, and trick-or-treating throughout the park. 
You can enjoy popular attractions with special Halloween twists, including Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, and Mad Tea Party. 
You’ll be able to fill your Halloween basket with M&M’S, SKITTLES, SNICKERS and more available at various trick-or-treating locations. 
New Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party merchandise will be available on party nights, including a brand new Ear Headband!

Disneyland Resort

Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party returns with more nights than ever before! More details about this separately ticketed event are to come, but you can expect immersive treat trails, character sightings, special entertainment, themed merchandise, treats and more.

Oogie Boogie Bash 2024 dates:

  • Sept. 3, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
  • Oct. 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, 31

Halloween on the High Seas Sets Sail in 2024

Disney Cruise Line will set sail in 2024 with Halloween on the High Seas – a returning favorite for cruise guests! This year, Halloween on the High Seas will feature brand-new costumes for Mickey, Minnie, and Donald Duck. While Mickey and Minnie opt for some “batty” inspiration, Donald makes one very gentlemanly spider.
In addition to the opportunity to meet characters such as Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, this event out at sea also includes activities like Mickey’s Mouse-querade, trick or treating, and some spooky food and drinks.
Halloween on the High Seas is available on cruises setting sail on select dates in September and October.

The Disney Treasure won’t be ready for this year’s Halloween on the High Seas, but we got more details about the Haunted Mansion Parlor coming to the ship!

Disney has shared new details from the bar including a ghost fish aquarium and some of the portraits that will be part of the eerie portrait gallery. Also, will they be selling Haunted Mansion Parlor-inspired tiki mugs at this bar and sign me up if it’s true.

New Merch 2024 Halloween Merchandise

Disney shared a sneak peek at the 2024 Halloween merchandise, and it includes a new Haunted Mansion collection inspired by the attraction itself.
 The iconic Mickey Mouse pumpkins, and clothing featuring Mickey Mouse and friends are returning. 

International Disney Theme Parks are Celebrating Halloween in New Ways This Year

Hong Kong Disneyland will bring back its Halloween celebrations, including House of De Vil-lains, the "Let's Get Wicked" show, and Nightmare Before Dinner experience, on September 12 and continuing through October 31. 
At Disneyland Paris, the Disney Halloween Festival will run October 1 to November 3. 
Tokyo Disney Resort will offer Halloween from October 1 through November 7, with new theming and entertainment.
