Quick Money Saving Tips for Universal Orlando in 2024

Quick Money Saving Tips While Visiting Universal Orlando Resort

-Food at the parks is tasty but expensive, so packing some in-between snacks will help ease the strain on your wallet.
-Bring reusable water bottles to refill at drinking fountains or filtered water stations. Water bottles in the park can run you up to $4!
-All quick-service restaurants will give you free ice water in a cup.
-Share meals with your friends/spouse/kids!
-Kids meals are also available for less.
-For a quick anytime snack, stop at Starbucks in CityWalk and order breakfast sandwiches. They’re portable, filling, and they are comparatively cheap. 10-20% discount for APs (depending on the pass)
-Avoid shops! As fun as it is to peruse the souvenirs all over the parks, be prepared for the “I want everything!” battle. OR set a budget for souvenirs – let kiddos pick ONE item under a certain dollar amount
-Purchase Harry Potter tees & accessories dresses ahead of time at Target or online via Amazon, etc.
-Multi-day, park to park tickets (one park per day) will save you $ if unable to purchase an annual pass.
-Military discounts on tickets are also available on food, merchandise and tickets.
AARP members get discounts on food, merchandise and tickets.
-Remember, kids under 3 are ALWAYS free.
-Staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel is much cheaper than staying at one of the Universal onsite hotels.
-My favorite Neighbor Hotels are Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Howard Johnson Hotel & the Super 8. Super convenient & each hotel is very nice.
-Aside from these 3 hotels, other closely offsite Hotels have their perks, so be sure to check whether they’re offering any specials.
- Look into staying in an AirBNB as well! You're just sleeping there, so it doesn't have to be fancy.
