The Weeknd has returned exclusviely to Universal Studios Hollywood again for this year's Halloween Horror Nights event!

The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy Haunted House

The Weeknd’s new haunted house is be based on his 2020 hit album, After Hours, his 2021 album Dawn FM & his new upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow.
In a new horrifying new tale, you'll get ensnared by the most iconic moments inspired by his music videos and live performances. The house is The Weeknd's loose take of Dante's Divine Comedy via the trilogy.
When Abel started making After Hours, it was part of a trilogy that he has been making, and Dawn FM was the second part,” Murdy explains. “I went to meet with him in January to pick his brain about the idea of doing a house that would encompass all three of those things.

A lot of it is his version of Dante’s Divine Comedy which includes Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise. It’s trying to fold in all of that. He’s working on something in the future that is going to be the completion of that trilogy.
— John Murdy

The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy Haunted House Facade

The house’s facade is massive and visually stunning! The design is a brightly-lit city with a huge Abel head atop the city skyline.
Check out this video Molly from Mammoth Club captured! You can watch their Universal Hollywood HHN33 Video showing her POV, and reactions on The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy house.
Throughout the event night, the house facade switches between a red, blue and orange color. The “How Do I Make You Love Me” music video plays on The Weeknd's sunglasses at the top of the facade.
Above the actual haunted house’s entrance, you’ll see 2 varying versions of The Weeknd vibing with the crowd. Each cast change has either After Hours or Dawn FM Abel as a live character at the top of the facade.
I freaking love that while you're waiting in line, The Weekend is a DJ helping you kill time.
