Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning to Magic Kingdom, and dates have been announced for 2024!  This year the parties run from November 8 to December 20. 

Here’s everything we know so far.

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will go on sale July 2 to guests of Disney World resort hotels, Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve, as well as Shades of Green. 

Christmas Party ticket sales to the general public begin on July 10.

What Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event that’s held at the Magic Kingdom several nights a week. The party typically lasts 5 hours. On these nights, the park closes early to regular guests. 

Party attendees can enter the park a few hours prior to closing without needing to use regular admission, and the party features special entertainment, decor, characters, food and drinks.

Entertainment favorites like Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration castle stage show will be back. There will also be complimentary cookies and cocoa, and special menu items.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024 Dates

The party will be held on a total of 25 dates this year, with the first on November 8 and the last on December 20.

• Nov. 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29

• Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Event Hours

On event nights, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7 p.m. and lasts until midnight. 

Ticket holders may enter the park on their party ticket as early as 4 p.m., and entry at the tapstiles will close to those without party tickets at 6 p.m.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024 Prices

This year’s date-specific prices are not available yet. Ticket prices range from $169 - $219, with child tickets (ages 3-9) priced at $10 less.

There's also a $10 discount available to Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders  on select nights. DVC members must be eligible for Membership Extras to receive the MVMCP ticket discount. 

DVC and AP discounts on MVMCP tickets are available on the following nights:

• November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22

• December – 1, 3, and 5

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

Happily Ever After won't be shown on nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held. Instead, guests will get to experience Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. Minnie hosts this show that includes lots of Disney characters and music featuring projections, fireworks, and other special effects.

Two dessert parties are available during the fireworks:

•  Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing

• Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

On party nights the Christmas Parade runs twice. 

Special Characters at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party features Meet & Greet opportunities with characters who rarely appear in the parks. 

The list of special characters varies from year to year. The Princesses tend to appear at the parties with their princes.
